American Freedom Assurance

Also known as AFA Title. After reading the negative posts here, I was reluctant to take a job with them. I explained my concerns and they told me that they had revamped the payable system and would be paying promptly. As agreed, they paid me in 30 days. They also were very pleasant to work with. I hope their new changes have resulted in all of you receiving your checks also!

That's good to hear. IMO any company expecting to stay in business has to get their act together for paying notaries promptly!

Oh, I don't know ... think SOX (for just one example). Some actually stay in business and NEVER pay notaries - let alone "promptly."

I like working for AFA. Haven't had anything lately, but when I did work for them, they were professional, good pay and on time for me.

could you please list and/or link your post to this company
