Bank of America closings

Just a quick question! If you do Bank of America closings on a regular basis, do you have to fax back numerous pages before sending paperwork back?

It depends upon the SS and/or TC. Some closings do, some don't. I charge extra for fax backs.

BTW, what is the going rate for faxbacks these days? By the page or the assignment?

That's a good one. LOL. One tc (New Millenium) pays a lower fee & doesn't pay for faxbacks at all. It's hard to determine what the "going rate" for anything is these days.

Just as a beginning point of reference, I called our local Staples in Feb to see what they charge for faxes (out of state): $2.00 for the first page and $1.50 for each succeeding page.

For one title company office I do closings for, faxbacks for certain pages of B of A loans are expected only if the signing takes place in the evening. If the papers can be dropped off the same day as the signing before the day's pickup, it is preferred to fax back but you can drop off without faxing back.
