Fast Notaries?

I was on another forum I belong to (not notary related) and there was one of those "sponsor links" at the top of the page a few minutes ago.
Said Fastnotaries.com $149 loan special.

I just had to check it out! It is easier if you go to the site than me telling you about it.
it is www.fastnotaries.com When you get there and click to enter the site, just page down and look at the pricing packages.
Then if you click on Testimonials, they are all testimonials for an investing firm not notary stuff.
The look at the FAQ's and notaries are appointed by the government!!!!

Looks like it is brand new!

I particularly liked this testimonial:

"I have never met a firm that operates with such integrity. Smith ones does what it says it will do. I am confident that my financial future is in good hands. Thanks Smith Jones!
-Rocky B. Winkle
Sanitation Consultant"

Rocky B. Winkle? Really??? Could "B. Winkle" be "Bullwinkle?? Sounds like whoever designed their website got bored at some point...

"Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.. Oops, wrong hat..."

They were funny!

But in the FAQ a notary public is appointed by the government. I can just see a notary going to do a signing and saying to the borrower "Hi, I'm from the government and I'm here to help you with these loan docs"

Aww, Sylvia, while it's an obvious lie, such a negative

message - that the government - our government - is All Bad, is, quite frankly, inappropriate.

To wit: Two days before my renewal date and after a morning of signings, I went to our local DMV. No line, efficient and neighborly process; ATM because they only process cash; I've lost 30 pounds in 8 years; and glasses improved the eye test. Old Tax Return with my SSN and my Passport for ID, photo w/o glasses (bummer) - but even so, rates as A Very Pleasant Process.

In my Notarial travels up and down Highway 101 all along the Central Oregon Coast, to and through all of the little towns and neighborhoods, from Yachats to Wheeler, one not only sees, but benefits from the many Roads Projects, Bridge Work, Sidewalks, Streetlights, and on and on and on.

Rural and urban infrastructure creates jobs, and, the more the better, I say - makes life so much easier.

Anyhoo, my experience, even through all of these 63 years, is that our Government is Us. All of us. Not perfect, because Humans aren't perfect. But haven't we, through all of our foibles, come an awfully long way since subjugation; since a brand new Country, self-governed, self-Defended, and a Showpiece of a brilliant Democracy?

Civilized societies Govern for the Common Good. I believe in my Country.

One wonders if it isn't time to find one kind thing to say about America and its Leadership, and the painfully Slow Recovery, and the sad, left-over Wars; and the struggles of our States, and Counties, and towns, and neighborhoods.

Because in actuality, our government *is* trying to help, when we let it.

JMHO

Chill, Susie, it is a joke! The Three big lies - remember them?

Number one was "Of course I'll respect you in the morning
Number two was "The check is in the mail
Number three was "I'm from the government, and I'm here to help you"

Re: Fast Notaries? - "Smith Jones"? *snort* Chortle.

Hey, Smitty, or is it Jonesy?

How fast ~are~ your Notaries?

As for Rocky and Bullwinkle, YMBJ [You Must Be Joking].

I saw the same ad also. Some of the links are dead. So it might be new or just a spot to gather info, not sure and not impressed.

Gee, I wonder if Natasha left a testimonial? Or maybe Clark Kent?

My opinion is

that it is a site that is being hung out there to collect notice on the web by the search engines, and then it will be sold for more than they paid for it.

Changed my opinion!

The phone number on the site is BHM or Beverly Hills Maids. That matches the other address information given.

This was a web package bought for the purpose of setting up the site. The investment info is just filler that came with the package.

BTW....some of the links in that site resolve to gmn.

I googled the phone number and came up with this related site...http://cmbanks.com/Partners.html

The partners' bios seem to be very sketchy. Nancy Smith has a degree from A TECHNICAL INSTITUTE, Caesar. M Banks II graduated from U of Memphis, and Greg Jones has a Bachelor of Architecture from Acorn U. Sounds fishy to me. They are in the high rent district of Beverly Hills. Can't imagine how they can afford to pay this kind of rent, but there is a high vacancy rate along Wilshire Boulevard these days.

What is Consolidated Business Concepts any way. Consolidated misspelled in the first paragraph. This seems to be a consortium of several businesses, banking, real estate, notary, maid service. Well, heck times are tough, gotta diversify. I did. But I know how to spell CONSOLIDATED!
