Funniest NNA email I've received to date...

"It’s time to renew your 2-year Notary Signing Agent Certification.... [blah blah blah] ...."

Here's the best part...

"In fact, just a few additional loan signing assignments will easily pay for your investment in a 2-year NNA Notary Signing Agent Certification and Background Screening."

It's $79.

Re: LMAO ... Is that the price or the pay for signings?

$79 is the price for the renewal of the 2-year BGC and certification and a year of NNA membership.

Which, according to their email, can be paid for with "just a few additional loan signing assignments."

I see that they are still working for the low ball SS co's

"Which, according to their email, can be paid for with "just a few additional loan signing assignments."

They may no longer advertise their 'industry standard' fee chart but they still advertise it in other ways. Frown

I got it too

It makes me wonder if anyone proofreads the materials they are sending out.

Even at their previously published "standard" rate of $65/signing, it would take only two signings to cover the $79 fee.

Here's my favorite part, "Renewal does NOT require retaking the certification course or a qualified exam,..."

This acknowledges that once you have certified, you do not need to take another test on the same material, so in effect you are paying $79 for a background check that "expires" in 2 years. And they are throwing in the NNA and NSA Section memberships at no charge, which is exactly what they are worth to me.

Maybe I should use my $52 credit towards this just to keep myself on the signingagent.com list. What do you think?

Re: I got it too

If you've got that credit... might as well use it. Then it'll only set you back, what $17? That's not too bad.

I used to get plenty of decent calls through that listing... but not a single one in the last 10 months or so. I'm mostly neutral when it comes to them... I don't like them, but I don't mind them, either.

I'm glad I opted for the check, though... I'm putting the cash toward something else.

Re: I got it too

It would be an additional $27. I think I will wait until I renew my commission in November and decide then. As long as the credit is still good...I'll have to look into that.

Why not become a member.

Afte receiving emaills over the past couple of eeks, touting the normal ads for renewing and other stuff sold by NNA, and upccoming webinars, et., I got a completely different one today. It explaimned the many benefits of becoming a meber of NNA, getting certified, having GBI, etc. I just politely responded that I am one of those valued members, and have been for years...........
