HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Hope you're all having a great three day holiday. I had only one signing yesterday after a week of incredible numbers of refis and purchases. Like everyone decided to close last week for some reason, after having been in the process for months! One borrower since December of last year. I think it has something to do with being short staffed, not enough hands on deck to handle the surge of low interest rates offered by lenders. Foggy and cold on the central coast. Also very unusual for Fourth of July. Historically it's well into the 90s and 100s. My one signing yesterday was at the campsite of vacationers from the Central Valley where temps were 113 degree in the shade.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Wow 101 great to be busy. My area is still slow. My Son lives in Ojai I was there bout 3 wks ago and the temp was amazing 80ish. I can't imagine the over 100 temps. Took my grandson to Disney what a blast.

WOW Wish I had known you were in our locale. My brother and sister still live in Ojai. My brother is a successful building contractor, in these times, it is God's blessing, and my sister owns a day spa and gets all the Ojai Valley Inn spillover. She does well, works hard to keep it together. What is your son's name and what does he do? I grew up on Santa Ana Road near Lake Casitas and attended school in Ventura but always worked in Ojai in high school and early college years. It does get hot there. I'm looking forward to fall already. It was foggy this morning, but sun is out now. Just finished setting out pole beans and more tomatoes and bell peppers. Cukes and radishes from the garden are pumping. Really, the next time you come out, let me know!

I would love to meet you. I come out every 3/4 months to see my grandson. Mike (my Son) is a police officer in Santa Barbara. His wife Vanda has just graduated from school as a xray tech and currently looking for a job. Seems there are very few available. I should be out your way in Sept/Oct. I will need my baby fix by then. PM your phone or email address so I can alert you I'm coming. Thanks
Ilene

What a small world. I've done a lot of refinance loan signings for many police officers in Santa Barbara. My friend is a live scan operator for SBPD and she helped me when I got started three years ago in my own facility. My office is only three blocks from the PD and the Courthouse where I cry Foreclosure Auction Sales at 1pm daily. Can't wait to meet you, Ilene. I leave August 31 and return September 12, my first vacation since 2003 when I cruised with other SAs in Baja. I am traveling to Des Moines for a day before the cruise, fly to Tampa with the love of my life until September 6, returning to SB on September 12 from Des Moines where I'm spending the weekend after the cruise. I hope this jives with your plans.

Heeyyy! Happy 4th to you too, woman! Cool on our

Coast up here too. Sun was out for a few good hours, and the fun-havers were all playing on the lake, and a few ka-booms already, and the scents of barbys is mouth-watering.

Dad's doing our part with ribs and Tuscan sausages...yummms.

And Ilene, you got to go to Disneyland...Cheryl, how your garden grows...

So great you two will meet up!
