I AM NotRot

After five days and countless p/ms and emails I realize that there are quite a few NotRoters
expressing personal comments to me about my decision to stop posting. Statements like, “It’s
Your decision and I’ll support it “ to “keep posting and xxxx them off.” Some said, “ Don’t let
them run you Off” or “they do not represent the way I feel.”

I didn’t know how many valued my input because they normally stay in the background.
They did speak out and let me know what they thought. It is because I believe I add value
to the forum, I will post again.

Good or bad, as long as it’s subject matter relevant, I encourage input from everyone. That’s the only true way to participate in a forum.

I will continue to post, I will continue to disagree and have disagreements.

I am not going to please everyone and everyone isn’t going to please me.

I am not always going to have the correct answer but I will always give my best answer.

I will always follow it’s rules and guidelines but I won’t be intimidated by any poster.

I will say what’s on my mind and I won’t sweat the small stuff..

I've been smashed and I've received gifts.

The world is made up of all types of people and so is NotRot!

"The world is made up of all types of people and so is NotRot!"

So true, James! And we all have our good days and our bad days. I think the best we can all do is try to learn from the bad days, hope to rise above those situations and individuals that would try to drag us down without getting caught up in the nonsense (whenever possible) and then move on. We all hope to have more good days than bad, and I believe that, as a whole, there is much more good than bad that takes place here. So welcome back!

We've already had some expressions of appreciation tonight for some of the good stuff, so maybe we're on a roll??!! Smile

Welcome back, James Dawson. Don't let the turkeys get you down. You have to sift through to the higher selves (eagles) on this board. There are a lot of people who have nothing better to do but to pick, criticize and be downright ugly. Well, I guess there is some safety in knowing one will never be 1:1 with the person bthey are attacking. There are no formal guidelines for professional behaviour on this board, and believe me, a lot of bad behaviour has gone by the wayside, over time, thanks to Harry. Keep in mind that we are a national board, and there are all varieties and types across the country. We are all different and have different levels of experience. Each of us is a sum of all of our experiences.

Hang in there. Most of us who've been on the board for years are very happy for your contributions. Have an awesome day!

James, I for one am glad you did not just up and disappear from NR. I find most of your posts very interesting. It just amazes me sometimes how you can turn around any discussion and make it all about you. There are several posters here that I have gotten a wealth of info from, In my world, THEY are Notary Rotary! JMO.

James, stick with us and just ignore the idiots!

Illigitimus non carborundum est.

VERY loosely translated from Latin - Don't let the bastard's wear you down.

It's not actually Latin, but it's still a good personal motto....

Come clean, now; you're not really James Dawson, are you? You're really Aurelio. It's obvious; there's an "a" in both "James" and "Dawson," and "Aurelio" starts with an "a." On top of that, there's an "e" in "James" and an "o" in "Dawson," too, and "Aurelio's" got both of those. If you're not Aurelio, then you've got to be Robert, because you write too much like him.

Are you Jimmy Hoffa? Judge Crater? Amelia Earhart?

Tell the truth, and we'll give you one of your testicals back. Otherwise, Soprano city, here you come.
