Just cleaned up RM closing mess from another notary
Ms. Borrower was so delighted to see me. She said the other notary was horrible, rushed her, never notarized anything at the table and was only concerned about the ID aff. Never explained docs. As it turns out, this other notary left behind her card. NNA member/certified, etc. Ms. Borrower told other notary that docs may need to be changed because rather than a lump sum, Ms. Borrower changed her mind and wanted to do a line of credit instead. Other notary said that was fine, go ahead and sign, and when you get your lump sum check, just send it back. Needless to say, Ms. Borrower was astounded, consulted an atty, and Wells Fargo will no longer be using that notary. Ms. Borrower was delighted with how courteous and professional I was so hopefully I will be getting more work out of Wells Fargo. I hope the "other notary" reads this and puts away her seal.

That's terrible!
It's bad enough when someone doesn't know their job and/or doesn't perform with high standards. But, to put a senior citizen through the process twice because of that other notary's ineptness ... well, that's elder abuse, IMHO!
Thank you for a job well done and I do hope Wells Fargo appreciates you and gives you more work!
