NNA Lawsuit Settlement
Does anyone know the particulars of the below lawsuit involving the NNA? I've received a $52.00 settlement offer. Anyone else get it?
Subject: Michael Anderson, et al. v. Signix, Inc., et al. - United States District Court of Virginia, Richmond Division Case No. 3:08CV570

It's had been discussed at length here earlier in the year, and you were probably notified of itif you were on the list.
You basically had two choices -- do nothing and get a $52 credit toward membership or goods through the NNA or opt for cash instead. Several of us opted for the cash. I got my check yesterday -- others who didn't opt for cash got an email about the credit.
The only reason you'd get more is if the NNA took an "adverse action" against you based on the contents of your background check. There were not too many of those.

I wrote a quick summary about it:

These are the details as posted on the NNA site (this was written before the settlement was accepted but it still covers it)

There was a similar suit 3 years ago involving Lexis-Nexis. I got $1,000 on that one! Wooohooo!
