I was shredding all my 2006 tax receipts this week. I found quite a few invoices for NREIS signings that I did that year and even in 2006, I was having to fight to get paid. It's interesting to read the notes I make on invoices!

I guess they did me a favor lowering their fees to a point where I told them to stop calling. They still call occasionally but I tell them NO.

I'm also waiting for a very late payment. Had a call on Wednesday to do another purchase closing for them and said no. I explained to the scheduler that I had been calling every other day to every phone number I have for NREIS & IREP and also emailing to get paid and I get no reply from anyone. I told him I just choose not to work for nothing. He said he was just a scheduler and couldn't do anything about it but I told him he might want to speak with someone at a higher level & explain that if they don't pay notaries they aren't going to be able to get any who will work for them. Obviously, they are still finding people who will do it though. Don't know what has happened as I have worked with them over many years and never had a problem receiving prompt payment.

of the Notary Boards; and I received checks a few days later.

He never responded. I just got the checks.

I think he is in Accounting.


I Included the date of the signing, the name, the $ amt and
especially the Order #.
