Need printer help
My HP 1320 stopped in the middle of printing out docs. (Doesn't it always?) So, I tried the usual: opening and closing the print cartridge drawer, turning the printer on and off, unplugging and replugging the printer, etc. It did not work. The printer icon is still there even though I cancelled the print job. Any suggestions? TIA.

Don't know if this will help, but here is a link to an HP troubleshooting page

I know this is simple and obvious, but have you checked the ink level? I only ask because I didn't one time and decided to just before dismantling my printer. LOL on me!

Just thought of another thing to try
Try rebooting computer and printer at the same time. This may clear out whatever is stopping the print job. Might also want to clean out "junk" and "temp" files. They sometimes slow up computer and may even cause programs to "freeze up" if the files are too full.

Re: Just thought of another thing to try
Thanks, Moneyman! That's the one thing I forgot to do - reboot the computer! If my husband was home, he'd have reminded me.

Don't know if this will help but did you check the page size where it stopped? I found on a couple of occasions where the page size was changed to say A4 and that stopped my printer from printing. Had to manually get by these few pages.

I've had that a few times. The paper size was kind of odd and I had to manually print a few pages. It was supposed to print on legal, but it printed on letter.
