Pacific Document Services

Has anyone done any signings for APDS lately and not been paid? I am still waiting for payment on a signing I did from early May. I have emailed, called 2x's and faxed an invoice with no response.

In SC, they both have room for improvement... n/m

Other way around, Yoli

Services is Brentwood - that's Paul's company
Signings is L.A. - better but, as BossLady said - room for improvement.

P.S. - no personal experience with either of these companies - just forum talk and SC ratings.

I did a job for them on Feb 16th and didn't get paid till May 20th. That was my all-time slow pay record of 93 day! It was also a small amount of money so I didn't sweat it too badly, but would think twice about taking another assignment. They just kept telling me that the check was in the mail. I finally forgot about them and got the check eventually.

Right after I posted my message, I recieved a call from Paul from APDS. If I had known thats all it took to post it on here, I would have done it last month. He said my check went out in the mail today, so we shall see if I get it or not.

Be sure to let us know too.

If you read up on him, you will see that this is his standard MO. The time to check these companies out is BEFORE you start printing and do the job. If you don't like what you read then give the job back.

Also, I have linked your posting

It is much easier to see all comments about a particular company if you link them. Then, you can see not just the Signing Central comments, which because of space limitations, can be sketchy, but see all comments in the various threads posted in the forum. That most times gives one a better picture of the company in question.

Sorry, kinda new to this forum so I'm not sure how to link messages.

Thanks for the help

What does the A stand for APDS? If you have checked this forum, you would find plenty about payments from Paul Gambs. Good Luck!

I've done signings for them before and recieved payment, thats why I took the signing. And the A stands for Atlantic and Pacific Document Services.

Thenk doesn't that make it a different company altogether?

Which is it?

Thats what I thought too, but their paperwork says APDS on the top of it, but their contact info is under Pacific Document Services.

APDS still owes me for 2 jobs completed in April. The story is the same; emails, phone calls, faxes and no payments. I had troubles with APDS back in '09 and we agreed to switch to PayPal payments. That worked fine for awhile, but now it's going on 4 months without payment. I've stopped trying, but certainly will not take any more APDS jobs.

Don't give up - keep bugging him. I finally got paid in

June, 2010 for closings in Feb, 2010. Watch out for this slickster!!! He pays w/ bad checks! This last one was dated 3/3 - but it wasn't written 'til June!!! I called, faxed & emailed at least 10 times! He's trying to make it look like he's paying us on time! Any checks you get, go to BOA & cash them! Walmart charges $3, but that's better than bouncing a check (or 2 or 3)!

Re: Don't give up - keep bugging him. I finally got paid in

I actually tried cashing my check from him at walmart and they wouldn't take it. They gave me a print out that declined the check with a phone number on it to call, I called it and it said that their account is no good in the walmart system. horrible!

Also, my check that I did recieve was dated back two months as well.
