just offered $85 for a reverse mortgage. I countered by quoting my fee $XXX. She never bothered to counter-offer. Instead she said, "I'll have to get that approved and get back to you."

We know what that means. I will say this. That signing is for Monday so I guess they have a few days to shop around. And, unfortunately, will find someone who'll accept their fee. Just hope they know what they're doing so the borrower doesn't have to go through it twice.

I have worked for them a couple of times and both times she said she would have to get that approved. Both times she called back within 20 minutes. I was unsure of this company due to negative remarks in SC, but looking closer at them most were meant for the other company with the similar name. I had set my fee pretty high and she met it both times.

Is this Paul Gambs'? He pays w/ bad checks - run like h3ll!

He gave me a chk w/ NSF, which froze my a/c for 10 days! He eventually pd, but insisted the chk wasn't bad - the fds just weren't there! HUH??

Meanwhile, there was another CIM. when I got that one, I went to WMT & found out again - NSF! Again I called him & he said "This isn't a bad check. We're expecting a dep 2morrow & the check will be good then. Again - HUH??" I then took it to BOA w/ no problem.

He REALLY believes this is an acceptable way of doing business!?!?!?
To his credit, he did eventually pay me for all the work that I did, but...NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!
