QuickBooks Question
I started using QuickBooks Simple Start this year for my 2nd business. It's free for the first 20 or so customers. I need to add more customers so the software is telling me to upgrade to Pro for $159.00. I think Pro has more bells and whistles than I need. I like QuickBooks a lot but I don't want to put out that much money right now. I've looked for coupons online but what I've found isn't for upgrading. Before I call QuickBooks to ask for cheaper upgrade, I thought I check with my peers first. I'm using Microsoft Accounting for my notary business. Hmmm....maybe I can add another company to that for free. I'm going to check that out.

If you go with Ebay, make sure the QB's you buy is an unopened box from the seller...

I use QB Simple Start & have stayed with it. I don't need anything more than that. I paid for my initial software @ Costco & had to pay QB for an update. It's part of the cost of doing business.

MW, I think you gave me the answer I was looking
for. I don't want to go to Pro. I didn't see an option to upgrade to a paid version of Simple Start. That's what I want to do instead of paying to go to Pro. I bet it's cheaper. Thanks. When I call QB that's what I'll ask for.

I'm glad I could help, Michelle. Yes, you can call QB & they will get you set up with what you need. BTW, they do push their "support services" at additional cost, but I won't pay extra for that & haven't really needed it.
