The " Signing Services Sillies.." n/m

Darn wrong key...anyway

inquired about payment from SS and they responded with a photo copy of my payment from them. Here's my response.

>>>> I don't know what this mean? Is this something I'm supposed to be getting? It would be better to see a postmark.

Better: was it front and back of check w/bo name?

that would be the best way to convey this info.

Re: Darn wrong key...anyway

If it was a copy of a cancelled check, made out to you and cashed, you have your answer, if not?????

Re: Darn wrong key...anyway

Yes you're right...had borrowers info and dated two days ago. I should have had it two weeks ago as agreed. What good is it to accept someone's word in the future if it doesn't happen as agreed in the present?

Re: aggravating!

You know Jules, what's really aggravating is negotiating a fee, making a concession, in good faith, agreeing to being paid in a certain time frame and then doing EVERYTHING to make it happen....and it still doesn't happen. Aggravating indeed!

"No...the "issued" check"

Oh - that would be the one still sitting in someone's outbox...

It's amazing to see how stupid they think we are.

Maybe they want you to take the copy to the bank?

If it were me and it was not in my hands 2-3 days after they sent the "picture" (I guess for framing purposes?) I would ask them to place a stop payment on that one and get a new one to me within 3-4 days. First class mail can move from one side of the country usually during that time frame and if they are closer than NY or FL it should be well within that time frame.

I agree with the others, if they were attempting to show that they have already paid (and it has been cashed) they should have sent a copy of front & back to you.
