The paper deal from Office Depot :(

Went to get my paper today that only cost me about $7.00 from last nights post and they denied me my paper. They have apparently retracted the deal due to too many orders and a problem with the coupon codes not registering correctly! I still think that they should have let me have my paper but instead they claim that they did not charge me and would not let me have the paper for that price. Better luck to the rest of you, waisted my time and effort driving over there! Frown Jenifer

I also went to Office Depot to pick up my paper and the manager asked to see my coupon.
I told him I got the coupon off of my message board. He said the coupon was hacked and unless I had the actual coupon he could not honor the sale. Hope the rest of you don't have the same problem. Lois

Sorry, but I smiled and got a little attention by showing all of my Office depot Receipts.(I keep them all in one place, believe me, it counts). Got my paper! Donna

My order confirmation said that I would receive a separate email when my paper was ready for pickup - I never got that email. Thanks for the info... I won't bother with trying to go to the store now, especially if I have not received the pickup notification.

Just had a VERY poor experience with Office Depot. Went to one of thier Ft Worth stores two weeks ago to buy a HP 1522MFP. They had an ad for $50 for a trade in when you purchased a copier, BUT it didn't apply to this model. I had a cupon for $30 off on a purschase of $150 or more BUT it did not apply to printers or tech electronic.
I went ahead, purchased the 1522MFP in stock as I needed it and it was the best price I could find.
Set it up. The copy function for legal size paper didn't work properly. Searched, called and talked with people to see what might be the fix. Was not able to fix the problem.
Tried to return it this afternoon, the 14 th day. NO refund, enchange item for item only.
I had decided to go ahead, spend the $$$, upgrade to a 2727MFP. This was unacceptable to them, only exchange item for item.
Will be trying to get a regional/district Tuesday to see if this can't be resolved.
Otherwise, a credit card dispute is the next step.
PS I get legal size copy paper at COSTCO for about $43 a 10 ream case and letter size for around $28. as an everday price.
Looked at the legal size copy paper at Office Depot, it was about $70 per case.
