Linked - they're listed...

There's a typo in the Company name - *Titl* rather than *Title* so it's out of order...

Yes, I've worked for them also and had the same good experience. This is a good company.

Re: excellent company and super fast payment!

It's been a while since I've worked for them. At first they met my fee with no problem at all, paid fast and no problems. The last time they called it was something on the order of $85. They went too low for me and just couldn't get them any higher.

Same experience - $85 just too low, and they wouldn't budge.

HUH?

YIKES! All you people work for $85?? I'm shocked. I mean, it's OK if it fits your business model - but I thought we were all sticking together against the low-ballers. And $85 is definitely low-ball. I posted a year ago that my fee is $100 (which I still feel fortunate to get) and got ripped apart on this board for accepting such a low fee. I've since taken the occasional $95 - but not a cent lower. Quite frankly, I now admit I don't know what's going on, feewise. It looks to me like alot of us talk big about fees, but when push comes to shove we take what we have to take. I'm not criticizing - I'm just trying to figure out where everybody's coming from .....

Wrong assumption there, Goldgirl

TRG always meets my fee and I won't close a loan for less than $XXX. A good business model will consider what the market will bear, and our markets are highly localized. What rolls in rural TN isn't likely going to match downtown Chicago.

Re: HUH?

I get more than $85, but I do accept a few bucks less from them now. It was a difficult decision, but I made the decision based on three things: 1. They've been a regular client for many years and I try to work with the good clients that have made me profitable over the years. 2. They pretty much keep me within 10 to 15 minutes of my home. 3. All the closings I get from them are Citimortgage closings. They're about 55 - 60 pages total. Quick and easy.

They are also listed as Convenient Closing Services and checks come from that entity.

Even though TRG is the escrow company handling the citimortgage closings, it is rather obvious that they are using their signing service subsidiary known as Convenient Closing Service. They used to pay very well, (the Los Angeles office) but now are no longer willing to do so. Some may think $100 is a sweet deal, but I do not! I am very reluctant to continue working with them, just on principle alone. (either office in NJ or CA) Especially knowing that the fees they offer are so very abitrary. The only plus I can think of is they pay quickly.

I dont get it...we are both in the bay area

...once again, TRG calls me , wants me to do a closing about 10 miles away- BofA with faxbacks, and the fee is $85.00, no thanks. This is getting ridiculous.
