You people have too much time on your hands

I've obviously overstayed my welcome... I thought this board was a great resource for NSAs but membership here is just not worth the harassment. I've been a signing agent almost 10 years and a notary for almost 20. I don't want or need to prove myself to anyone so goodbye and good riddance.

And James Dawson especially... Grow up!

Except for Aureilo, every one of you have demonstrated

extremely childish behavior.

Mama's must be proud of your attitudes, poor as they are, for running someone off who came in good faith.

As Aureilo spoke to me, this person came to our community for the opportunity to exchange ideas, trials and travails. Once again, NotRotter's showed how kind they might be in welcoming a newcomer.

Apparently, privacy is not an issue for some; publicly you have demonstrated the depths of crassness and crudeness heretofore shown in witch hunts of the most extreme. Salem comes to mind.

Grow up folks, find something else to do on your slow days.

Sign me disgusted.

Re: Except for Aureilo, every one of you have demonstrated

I will always remember when I first came on the forum I was immediately attacked. It was suggested that the job I retired from was that of a kiosk manager for cell phones (it was kinda funny) but I didn't bulge. I realized you have got to have very thick skin just to participate. I remember stating, "I wasn't looking for acceptance."
In this case, The OP asked a question that sounded similar to you know who. I asked? I looked up the name, nothing, zip code nothing, Fla SOS web site for notaries...nothing. Looked bogus to me.

None of that was childish behavior.

Wow, that's the pot calling the kettle black! Talk about

childish behavior...huh, why you gotta bring in my mama...? Smile

Look at the facts. If this individual was serious about working in this profession, don't you think they would've at least provided a profile? Not to mention, I dunno, a VALID FL notary commission? This individual was not even listed via zip code search or listed on the FL SOS notary dbase!?

When asked about how new they were, or other usual questions we ask 'newbies', this individual didn't and/or refused to reply or answer posts and pm's?

Didn’t you wonder why? Some of us did. I did, and so I probed. Not heckled or intimidate, but probed...for the TRUTH! And so did others that saw where I was going.

For all we know, this person claiming be Aurelio/FL could've been Robert/FL or Becky (??) or some other unfortunate soul who got ousted or left voluntarily because of whatever reason and I guess we'll never know. But I just found it very coincidental that this person and Robert/FL, had very similar, if not identical posts about certain FL notary subjects. Even their sarcastic and rude remarks towards certain individuals including myself were similar! Can’t teach an old dog new tricks or hide the ones you let out! Postings from Aurelio/FL were signature trademarks of Robert/F, IMHO.

I mean, why didn't this person just prove who they were? If anything to regain their pride and dignity and earn respect on this forum. Because that's what it takes to be a part of THIS forum. Gotta prove your worth the membership and earn everyone’s respect!

In fact, for me, this forum is the frickin' Marines of all the nsa sites, and it is THIS FORUM, that I hold the utmost respect for those who are members. I've taken the heat and have been told by the very best, that I was wrong about this that or the other. AND I have sincerely apologized publicly and via pm, for any past rude behavior. Because, unlike this sorry a$$ individual that voluntarily left, again, if I'm wrong about something, I admit it and move on. Sure my pride may take a hit or two, but hey, that's the way it is to earn the respect (or love) on THIS FORUM. I am not a phony or a fake!

I stay on this forum, because I love how brutally honest the folks here are, and wanted to be part of a true forum which is real and honest, and had the best of the best as members! It is NotRot! I contribute by providing my very best possible advice that I know, articles, even (at times, sorry) jokes, and I don't bull$hit about work or money. I like to help individuals, I genuinely do! I’ve been a public servant for many many years, and will always help those that ask, sincerely!

Since I've been on this forum, it appears the only ones that have gotten runned off were the overly exuberant, egotistical, rude, vicious, disrespectful, and phony.

It takes alot of co-hones to be a "NotRotter" and I am proud to wear my pair!

Too bad this individual had theirs neutered at the door!

***Because that's what it takes to be a part of THIS forum. Gotta prove your worth the membership and earn everyone’s respect!***

Aurelio/Robert/Becky/Whoever aside, it is a sad commentary that one's right to participate in a professional forum would boil down to a knife fight in an alley where you have to establish you can slash with the rest of the gang. I certainly don't view my participation in this forum in such a light.

Re: Hugh you’re right,

but it does seem to be the case here. After getting ganged up on and bashed here, most people (newbies especially) get the idea that in order to be liked, they themselves must do the bashing. I have watched, and it does seem to be the situation on this board.

Re: Except for Aureilo, every one of you have demonstrated

I'm with you, Julia. I also found the behavior of some of the members here absolutely disgusting! Who do they think they are? They don't own or operate this site, but act like they do. Membership here is up to NR. No one has to prove anything to any of you. If they choose to link a profile, fine. If they choose not to, that's their perrogative. Unfortunately, this site has the reputation of beating people up--notaries & companies. Many will not participate here for that reason. We don't need a bunch of "cyber-bullies" here either. I don't like it a bit. It's not only unprofessional--it's wayyyyyyyy out of line. They show disrespect for the forum, themselves & everyone here with those outrageous posts. Shame on you!

Re: Except for Aureilo, every one of you have demonstrated

I couldn't agree with you and Julie more. And......this is the exact reason that I rarely participate in the forum. I check in and read the forum daily for the information that all of you true professionals supply! However, I rarely post a thing because I certainly do not have time to be attacked for my comments or hear crap from one of you who act like you are superior or own the forum! This is not about having "thick enough skin" to handle your comments. I am a single mom of three and my skin is thick enough, thank you. I am also not a "newbie" just because I rarely post! I keep my membership here for all of the professionals who conduct themselves as such and provide the rest of the "community" with productive comments, suggestions and tools of the trade.

Frank, I guess you define professional exchange

differently then I do. Let's look at one of the first posts in this stream:

"So long andl, don't let the door hit your a$$ on the wa"

I get the gist, but I don't see the professional exchange quality.

or this one

"Big enough to cast a shadow over you? I would have thought what was left over in my diaper should have been enough to do that......Let's see, that word is S$$HEAD???"

Now that one ranks up there high with professional discourse, in the WWF

or this one

"C'mon folks! Sometimes it's best to just ignore the rantings of a spoiled brat ..."

Now that one ranks well with the Mommy professional corps.

and last but not least

"For all we know, this person claiming be Aurelio/FL could've been Robert/FL or Becky (??) or some other unfortunate soul who got ousted or left voluntarily because of whatever reason and I guess we'll never know."

Now this works for the paranoid, tin foil lined cap professionals out there

So I guess you're right Frank, professionalism is in the eye of the beholder and today this forum got a black one.

Re: Frank, I guess you define professional exchange

The first post was a personal attack on me Philip. I'm not going to turn the "other cheek" if that's what a professional does and I'm not going to sit back and be quiet either. Even clergy use/say the same words I use (not to mention the VP).

I welcome any proof it was not who I thought it was but I'm not going to apologize to a ghost. You can say what you choose, that's what this forum is all about!

Oh yeah, it's ME who caused this

While I've certainly never held back in voicing my opinion, I can definitely say I've never jumped all over somebody for not having, or linking to, their profile. Because that's just stupid. Yet James and Cari have made a habit of doing it, and this is the result.

And no matter how many times, and how many different people have tried to explain to them that revealing your personal information on this board is OPTIONAL, they still seem to be obsessed with getting people to do it and think somebody is hiding something if they choose not to.

And Tess, people with b!tchy attitudes in glass houses certainly shouldn't throw stones. Your attitude ain't no better than mine, sweetie, as your post so eloquently proves.

But hey, it was 15 degrees cooler here than out by you, Glenn, so I'm not complaining. (And it WAS a dry heat... until the thunderheads rolled by. Not too bad!
