Is anyone having problems with getting documents from isgn? This is the 3rd day I have had to wait for hours on them. Night before last, the appt was for 5:00. By the time I received the docs and had the appt and got home, it was after midnight. Docs were over 4 hours late. Last evening the same happened. They finally cancelled at 9:00. Just now, appt is for 3:00 and no docs. If I wait any longer I will make my next appt late. So I have had to turn this back to them. Wow, I sure hate to miss these appts. But hate waiting so long, too.
Anyone else having problems, or is it just this once?

The issue of late docs was discussed the other day. I've ended up with a frustrating week, like many in the industry. Loans are scheduled, then postponed, etc. I just got off the phone with a borrower that has had the appt. scheduled 3 times & then postponed. The tc is telling me that the problem is that loans are being scheduled before they're actually ready to go. This business is all about flexibility. If your docs are late, move on to the next appt., and if they come through, push them to last. It's tough, because we all need the business these days. Hang in there!

"If your docs are late, move on to the next appt., and if they come through, push them to last"...

I agree with MW/VA. If you can move towards the last appointment of your day, then do it. That way you'll still be able to make money on that job.

Some on this forum, have discussed a 'late doc fee'...try throwing that into the mix and see if that makes a difference. Hope it does!

Thanks. I have been working this part time for about 6 years, and didn't really think about pushing a signing time to later. Didn't realize I had that 'power'. LOL You all just gave me that power.....
However, all worked out last evening. I did turn a signing back due to late docs, but the second signing also was late...from a different lender... about 2 hours. Then the first one called back and ask if I could still do theirs. Well, was able to do both. (thank goodness).
Anytime I have had a problem, You all are always there to answer it. Thanks!!
