truly mobile signings
Here is to the previous messages about truly mobile......to the people who complained.....she did right by me today and i was totally upset by your comments
I have never had a bad experience with her....She is always honest...and a pleasure to work with...she recently had a death in the family... are you so cold hearted you couldn't understand that...if I owned the signing company..i sure would not call you again to work for me...many companies pay well and pay sometimes 45 days not 30 and if you can't wait for it when you know it is coming, then loss business and sit on notary rotary when you could be out doing closings. btw, would you appreciate companies bad mouthing you at website about your performance when you had a death in your family

What, pray tell, is your intent with this garbled message?
It appears that all you did was do some cut/paste and put into this message. If you stay in the same thread, it would be more cohesive.
Most of us here have comprehension skills and sharp memories, hence the question: What are you trying to say? Here is how I interpret this:
"You guys must be making up stories. Ha, ha, so there, I have better experience!"
Please, tell me if I have this right or not? My poor little mind may just be out of kilter because of all the intense heat we have been having lately and you may be able to modify it. And, so what if you are upset - do you not think that those with entirely different experiences aren't upset?

Okay... I know this is probably mean... but.... whatever.
kflorida said, "well i just want to say if you have comprehension skills and a sharp memory why would you be asking me what my message meant.....you would be able to comprehand it...."
Marian says, "Well, I just want to say that if you had better grammar, spelling and punctuation skills we wouldn't be asking what your message meant."
We all make mistakes. I do it all the time here. The thing is, your messages are like this bizarre form of stream of consciousness writing. That form of writing is internalized and dramatic -- and not really the proper approach for a professional community.

I love that line, Jack! IMO it needs to become one of NR's standards, like Susan's "I wouldn't pet that dog". LOL

Didn't she go to bed? She said "good night". Perhaps gazing at the full moon?

I think what she said was: If someone that owns/runs/works for a signing company, and there is a death somewhere in their family….that they don’t have to pay you for your service, and you should be condemned for asking for payment. Yeah…sounds fair to me.

I think you should put your wallet where your mouth is and send me and everyone else a check to pay for the closings we did and haven't been paid for from this company since you are such a big fan. There is NO EXCUSE for not paying as agreed.

***There is NO EXCUSE for not paying as agreed.***
There are lots of excuses for not paying as agreed. There are some reasons for not paying as agreed. There are even a few good reasons for not paying as agreed.
I've never done any closings for the SS to which this thread pertains, and have no idea what the payment history is. What I do know is that if my daughter dies, or a sibling dies, or my girlfriend dies, you can expect some disruption in my business. Hell, if Lucy the Chihuahua dies, I'm going to be grieving for a while; we've grown old together, and her loss would be momentous to me. I'm probably going to cancel a few closings, and I may be late on the one or two monthly payments which I pay by check.
Most who post here are one-person businesses. Some of the signing services fit that category, too. We can't turn to someone else and say "Get it done." It all devolves to us. To say that that there is NO EXCUSE -- shouting in all caps, yet -- just seems to me to be an overstatement. A dam just burst in Iowa; with your living room up to the window sills in muddy water, that's not an excuse? A house just burned right down the road from me; with no records left, that's not an excuse? Your spouse just died; that's not an excuse?
There are circumstances, and there are circumstances. We should be sensitive to the difference.
Heaven forbid that ZeeZee the Cat ever eats PeeBee the Parakeet. I'm going to be out of it for a while.

Re: truly mobile signings/kflorida
You have no clue what my conversation was with her and it was 2 weeks ago. I wonder if closings were scheduled or did the business just shut down? The bottom line is that I spoke to her, was promised when payment was going out, it didn't and my phone calls were not returned. What am I supposed to think? I was told that the reason she didn't return my call was because it was extremely hectic with all the orders??

You may want to start reading the postings a little closer
First, the posting by Les was intended to be sarcastic, not supportive. And my post was responding to your shouting that there is NO EXCUSE for not paying as agreed. There are many excuses, and we all run across them occasionally. But there is also occasionally a good reason, and I think it behooves us both as human beings and as business people to recognize the difference. I leave it to you to ascertain whether this is an instance in which some discretion is indicated.

Re: You may want to start reading the postings a little closer
ML/PA's response was to the original poster, Kflorida, as are most of the others. Kflorida is the only one supporting the company and appears to be upset and cranky that anyone would knock the SS for the SS's continual excuses, excuses that have been going on for a LONG TIME.
This SS has a history of excuses, therefore, most are not willing to 'cut some slack'. Check's in the mail, I haven't been paid yet (several of us in FL got that for a few months many moons ago). Another reason linking posts is important: to see the pattern developing.
BTW, if I have a death in the family but I can answer the pleas of a client to get someone to do do my signings and then I hire you to do my signings for me, then a few weeks later I should be beyond my grief somewhat and begin to pay in a timely fashion. Assuming this scenerio further, notice my phone and electricity not cut off, so grief and/or circumstance(s) didn't prohibit my taking orders - only paying those doing them.
Now that I think of it - when my son died, my utilities stayed connected, my gas was in my car to continue to work and resume my life. Sorry - that was personal, not business, and life goes on. As a single, sole proprieter (sp?) there are necessary evils to attend, through tears and all.
One does what one must do.

Re: You may want to start reading the postings a little closer
Thanks for reading my post correctly JBA. It was not directed at Les or anyone else, that why I referred to Kflorida in the subject line in my response. In my original post I was merely stating the facts of my experience with this company. I don't know about everybody else, but I appreciate reading about negative and positive experiences that others have as it helps me to decide who I want to do business with.
I also agree with you that business must unfortunately be kept separate from personal. Believe me, I know and it's not always easy.

Re: You may want to start reading the postings a little closer
***...business must unfortunately be kept separate from personal.***
My daughter dies, don't expect me at any signings for a bit. Life does indeed go on, and when death becomes a part of it, my entire life is going to be impacted for a while. Neither a lender's business nor my own business is sufficiently important that I will prioritize it over something of that magnitude.
And Julie, just so there is no misunderstanding: I don't believe that you did that, and I am not suggesting that you did.
Finally, every post I have made in this thread was in response to the position that there is NEVER a reason for payments to a signing agent to be delayed. There are some good reasons that they will be, and even perhaps sometimes should be, and to hold otherwise is either naive or self-absorbed in the extreme.
