DVD Program

Does anyone know a good program where you can burn a video from a camcorder onto a DVD to play in your DVD player? I did one for my daughters graduation and my DVD player won't recognize the DVD. It plays on the computer though with Windows Media Player.

Many DVD recorders/players accept the SD card and will transfer the video file to a recordable DVD. The one I have (a Panasonic) will record the video on a DVD or VHS.

There are many programs out there that will convert the format on the SD card to something else. Do a Google search for video converters. I haven't used any of them so I can't offer any suggestions.

My camcorder actually uses the mini DVD's and I loaded it onto my computer and then burned it on a larger DVD.

If you can play it on WMP, then you may not have to buy anything else. Most computers come with Windows Movie Maker. Open it and import your file from your dvd. Insert a new, writeable DVD, and then publish as and select the option that you want. It's not hard but can take a little while depending on the size of your file.

Thanks Kaci - I will give that a try.
