East West Settlement

Stay away from them. I'm still waiting on payment from services rendered in MARCH 2010. I've called and faxed, still no check.....

Got this from another poster on NotRot:

PA Dept. of State, Bureau of Enforcement and Investigation, Professional Compliance Office

Google them - submit a complaint that the company has failed to fulfill its contractual obligations.

Also, contact the TC and kindly inquire if the file closed, as you the notary have not been paid by their signing service. Then send the TC a courtesy email thanking them for their assistance, and cc the signing service - that usually gets their attention and produces payment. If the signing service is owned by an attorney, you can file a complaint with the state bar for failure to fulfill contractual obligations.

East West Settlements is AKA East Coast Settlements. I did a signing for them back in March & was paid in 30 days. I've never had a problem with them.

I did one not too long ago, and was paid right at 30 days. On occasion, they have been slow, but Laurie has always been upfront.

I have done many closings for Lori @ East West f/k/a East Coast and have never had a problem with receiving payment. If the loan closed, didn't rescind and the documents were executed and notarized correctly, then there shouldn't be a problem with payment. Just a piece of advice, check your records and make sure that all went well with the loan and then once again send an email respectfully requesting payment. At that point I am sure Lori will review their records and respond in kind. If no issues occurred it is probably an oversight in accounting.

I have worked for East Coast in the past and been paid at close to 60 days and I have also been paid in just a little over 30 days. As far as the loan recinding I don't except those if I go and complete the signing I expect to be paid. As everyone else has said I could always reach someone there so maybe it's just an oversight.

I did a closing for Lori on July 3, 2012 and I have not received payment yet, she does not respond to emails and when I call the phone goes dead. I called the title company and they are going to email her as well, but that is all they said they can do. I would stay away from them all together. I doubt I will ever receive payment. I am really beginning to despise notary companies, I wish the title companies would stop using them all together.
