Funny
I think it is so funny how some people have the time to answer everybody's questions on here.

Consider it a blessing that the questions get answered
Lots of knowledge here for the taking...free....
I, for one, am very very thankful for it.

Wouldn't it be terrible if the questions weren't answered?
Be grateful that the questions are getting answered.

I'm very thankful too! There are several forums that used to be just as busy but the activity has suddenly stopped. Now, when a person asks a question, it takes weeks for an answer or the question is never answered. On this site, I learn something new every day.

Re: i sense sarcasm from leigh but i, too, am very thankful!
I think it's self perpetuating. The volume of the posts attracts people more frequently because there is value to be gained. (Like Doris said, there's something new to be learned every day - even if it's about what companies to avoid!) People who come here frequently to stay on top of whatever new information is being shared, will often have something to offer for the next person's question.
Personally, I find it difficult to keep up with all the posts and I still get enough value from reading here to not want to miss some key tidbit of info that could have a positive impact on how I make business decisions or conduct my signings.
Plus, as has been said many times before, this is our "water cooler". My friends outside this business have absolutely no interest in some of the things we can get carried away about here...

Yes, I sensed that too.
I felt she was insinuating that some have too much time on their hands. I don't see anything funny about it. Did she mean funny Ha! Ha! or funny peculiar?

ironic, as you'd have to be here too to observe that
I read this with my coffee every morning - and comment when I have something to say. It's also what I do when I'm waiting for those "any minute now" docs, so actually - the busier I am, the more frequently I am at the computer reading the forum.
I also sensed a snipey attitude - perhaps that's my mistake, and it's sure one I'd be happy to apologize for. This board has surely pulled a lot of behinds out of the fire, my own included, for many years. The 'newbie' thread is worth it's virtual weight in gold and is surely the most comprehensive & 'in the trenches' education to be found - freely given, and free to benefit from.

Well said, Renee
Couldn't agree with you more. I wouldn't want to have to do this business without the assistance of this board. It can pull your fat out of the fire. And in a one person business it gives us colleagues (sp?) similar to working in a big place. That is the only thing (the co-workers) that I miss about GM.

Re: ironic, as you'd have to be here too to observe that
I got the same impression and thought, "well, what are you doing here then?"
As Renee said, many times we are waiting and I find it easier to wait here than to play mindless games. Keeps me calmer and I am always interested to see what is going on everywhere else. I don't know it all, don't profess to know it all and always find something new here, even if it doesn't directly apply to me. But, I know most of the time where to look and find what someone else might need and don't mind assisting.
Churlish comments aside, it may be you who needs the info some day - then who do you expect to give you an answer? I guess that would be those who hang out and attempt to expand their horizons.

In the short time that I've been a member of NR I have
found that this site is an endless source for valid information. Furthermore, if you don't get the information your looking for someone will point you in the right direction. Thank you Not Rot family. Keep on posting. It's a good thing!

This comes across as a criticism, and I hope you didn't mean it that way. This site & many of the regular posters are here to support our industry & each other. I visit this site several times a day, checking in to see what's developing in the business. Without it, I wouldn't have had the "heads up" on things like loan mod apps & other scams that I won't be a part of. I don't get how people have a lot of time for texting, facebook, and twitter, but that's just me.

This absolutely the best forum for gaining invaluable information from those who have been there, done that are willing to share. I try to come on here at least Monday thru Friday. As stated before, every day there's something new to learn and/or share.
Sometimes, we share information. Sometimes, we share pain. But, every time, we share of ourselves. Notary Rotary family ROCKS!!
