Got a renewal letter today:
It starts off, "Your immediate attention is required because your notary is about to expire."
Note to self: Call Dr. H. I did not know I way dying that quickly why is he just not that honest with me?
But - this is confusing: "Plus, a notary through __________ lasts for 4 years. "
This is a selling point? This company has been in business for 45 years and now is churning them out as fast as xyz - so I guess they are taking some of their tips to generate business. Unfortunately for them, they don't appear to realize it is a commission, not a person.
Oh PS: I don't expire till 1/2011 - so there is no real rush here. We aren't CA.

Just how the hell am I going to recycle this wreath, Julie? You could be just a little bit more cooperative, you know.

Well, I certainly hope you don't expire on that date. Your commission might, but it would be nice if you were personally able to hang around after that...

LOL. I'm renewed until 02-2014--I expect to be around at least that long.

I received that same letter in April
I noticed the errors and just pitched the letter in the trash. There is no way I would send them my money when they don't even use the correct terms.
By the way, I am supposed to expire in November...I hope I make it to Thanksgiving.
