Harry, I saw NotaryRotary's ad on Facebook
advertising the Vision stamp. It's eye-catching. It showed up this evening on my Profile page. It was in the first position on top of two other ads. One from AARP (grrrrr). The other one for grad school.
Nice work. Hope it pays off for you. I keep re-inking the one I purchased from your site.

Re: Harry, I saw NotaryRotary
Yeah, I started playing with Facebook not too long ago. I don't think that particular ad is really driving any sales, but it's out there nonetheless. I believe I also created an ad to advertise our Facebook page:
http://www.facebook.com/NotaryRotary
I've been reluctant to do much with social networks (primarily because we are, in part, one), but gave in for a few reasons: 1) Minor exposure/SEO benefits, 2) Having a venue to communicate anything of critical importance in the event our site is down, and 3) To make product or feature announcements as a convenience to those people who follow Facebook and Twitter more routinely than they do our site.

I for one checks NR 1st thing in teh morning and then several times during the day. Am I the only one who really does not have the time for tiwitter. And for facebook, I am concerned about getting things in my system that could shut me down. I realized that I may be behind the times.

Julie Loves Twitter!
I found you on Facebook a couple of days ago, Harry. I will look you up on Twitter, too.
Twitter has a learning curve. I've read three books on Twitter (Twitter Power, The Twitter Book and something else) in the past couple of years. Once you learn how Twitter operates and what you can do with it, it is a wonderful and immediate source of information on any topic you are interested in. I initially intended to promote my tax business; I discovered that I prefer it, instead, as a source of policitcal information. How you choose to use it will determine what kind of twitterers you follow. I'm KSTaxlady on Twitter.
