INKY Closings, LLC

I'm having problems getting an answer from this SS. I did a signing for Joan last month and it is now 45 days since the signing. The problem with SS is that when you call/email and you don't hear a respond you think that maybe they are having some type of problem and they just ignore your calls.

Anybody have worked for them lately? In their website they say they pay in 14/21 days.

I accepted a last-minute job from Joan (Inky Closings) back in August. She called at 8pm for a 9am purchase. I negotiated an acceptable fee and accepted the job. Along with confirmation came a signing agent package and bunch of rules, some of which I would not accept. So, I called and emailed to let her know that I would not sign an agreement with them and also spelled out the other items that were against my company policy.

She said okay, just forget about all that. So, I did thejob, no problems. A month later, I get a call from her saying she had my check but wouldn't send it until I faxed in her signing agent package. I reminded her that I had confirmed ahead of time that I would not be signing any agreements with her and that if it ws a requirement, she needed to hire someone else. I told her she needed to send my check because I would not be signing any agreement and she knew that in advance. Guess what? JOAN HUNG UP ON ME!

Re: INKY Closings, LLC (continuation)

I don't know why my message posted...I wasn't finished.

She did ultimately send me a check, but she had a pretty nasty attitude with me when all I did was remind her that she knew in advance that i would not be signing any agreements.

I still have all the emails that went back and forth between us. I tried to post information on Signing Central but it says Inky is already there...when it isn't.

They showed up when I checked, so I have linked them for you. See if you can post your comments in SC now...

Re: INKY Closings, LLC (continuation)

Thanks Sheila. I will do that. I'm going to first read through all the emails so I can refresh my memory about the signing and its aftermath.

I am struggling to get paid also. I did a closing on August 31st, and the "check is lost in the mail" answer. She said she sent another check out, but I guess this one is lost as well. She's not responding well to emails, and someone named "Missy" said that it was again sent out on Monday Oct 18, while Joan said she sent one out on Thursday Oct 14th when I talked to her in person. I don't think I will do anymore for her. They are all last minute, do me a favor, and have fax backs. Ugh. Just want to get paid! Anyone else having payment issues with her?
