IS THIS A SCAM? HELP

Hi, I had a lawfirm contact me to see if I would help conduct a HAP closing. They are going to fed ex a check to me for the borrower to sign at a title company. I am only doing that and having him sign a few docs. The title company is doing the closing. They said I was representing the lawfirm, the fed govt and the law firms client the US Army of Engineers. Does this sound legal to everyone? Thaks

HAP's are administered by the US Army Corps of Engineers, so could be legit.
Check out the lawfirm.

when you get the signed dox.
Have done a few of these.
You will receive a US govt check.to deliver
