Is anyone getting calls from them? Have not heard from them in a long time!

I used to get a lot of calls from them. Haven't in quite awhile. I think when they started lowballing and would have to "get my fee approved," and couldn't, they quit calling. Or it could just be nothing in my area... Either way no calls for probably 4 or 5 months from them.

I got a phone call from the earlier this week. The only thing was she (can't remember her name) offered me $50(!) to do the signing. The borrowers did have the docs. When I said that I would not do it for that much and told her what I would need, she said that I did a job for her in Feb for $50! I could not believe that and told her so. Well, she said she would check with some of the other NSAa in my area and would get back to me. Still have not heard back. After I got off the phone with her, I checked me records, and low and behold, they had met my fee in Feb, I did not do anything for them for $50. Still not sure what she was talking about.

That has happened to me before with another company. They'll say, "You did one for us before for this amount." Then I remind them that was for overnight docs. Some of these companies will twist it any way they can.

Re: JMT low ballers

They were one of the first companies I signed with in 2001. $50 for overnight $75 for edocs.
Just depends on how low you will go.

They pay $50 with docs to borrower so they can review ahead of time, small packages and closings take 20 minutes. I will take the closings if they are 20 miles or less one way.

I have never done a closing for $50 and am not sure I would, unless it was down the street from me and I did not need to get a sitter. I think with this one that JMT offered me, I would have had to get a sitter and even though I did not have to print anything, I would have given half the money to my sitter! These don't take long, but they still need to pay a little more then $50!

I do 4 or 5 of them a month. Yes, they pay low. But there is no printing, no fax backs. After the signing, just drop everything off in the envelope (provided), fax in your invoice and you are done. Only do them close by, can't take them if distance is too great.

I've tried to sign up with JMT a couple of times because I keep hearing about the easy, quick docs-to-borrower-20-minute-packages. Thought I might give one a try if it was close. But every time I try to sign up with them, they respond by saying that they do not need anyone in my area at this time. Hmmmm.

WOW, I got a call last week from JMT, stating borrowers had docs. (80 pages), 2 hour notice, 30 miles away one way for $ 30.00 Bucks. I laughed and hung the phone up. So I hope they won't call again...
