Just curious
There were a few people who were having problems with their VuPoint Magic Wand. Did you get those problems resolved and was it because those scanners were defective?

I don't have a portable scanner. What is the largest size document you can scan with a VuPoint Magic Wand? I have pretty good luck with borrowers having copies of their ID as I am very clear about the need when I confirm the closing.

Carol, I haven't had a chance to exchange it yet.
Its about 25 miles from me. Hopefully Friday I will get there. Thanks for asking. I'll let you know.

This little 10" by 1' wand will take up to 81/2 x 14" copies. I always ask the borrowers for copies as well but sometimes, especially with Reverse Mortgages and the elderly, they have to go out somewhere to get copies made. When they tell me that I tell them not to worry about it, we have a way of making copies. It really feels good to be able to do that for people and the copies are perfect! It takes me 90 seconds to make the copies at home.

I just use my Sony Cybershot and take a picture of their DL.

I just use my flattop printer and cheap power inverter. I can even copy docs they need to send in with package. I have to take in my printer at night (from car) because ink dries up if you don't. Has worked great for 4 years!

I am on my second one, still with no luck. I think maybe neither one were defective, just doing something wrong. Will try again to get it to work this weekend. Tech savy I'm not!
