Last message

To the community at large, I am very sorry I let my emotions take over when I should have been thinking. The bad language I used surprised me as well. I apologize to you all.

Apology accepted.

How about starting all over again?

Well done, Robert. We won't miss you, but only because you're not going anywhere. You need to keep posting, if for no other reason than that some people here need a pin cushion.

Well done, friend. I'm taking note. I might need it.

I wish you well in all of your endeavors and hope that you will at minimum pop in and out...and keep me personally apprised of your schooling, your accomplishments and how things are going in general in your life.

Robert we have not agreed most of the time but so what! I will tell you this, we all must grow and develop to where we're suppose to be (where ever that is?) in this life. I say, take a break if you must, re-group and come back to provide input, positive or negative to the group.

Hugh posted "Some Rules of combat" (msg 12279) in leisure. you might want to put them up like I did, it will help with everything. Good luck in school.

Yeah, BossLady, I think you could have - and should have

Robert extended an apology to the entire forum for what happened - IMO I see no need for sarcastic remarks.

Re: its humorous cause we all know its not his last message

I believe the "Last message" topic was referring to the last message he posted. He was apologizing for it. He wasn't saying this was his last message.

You could have just moved on instead of making what you believed was a humorous comment. Most other responses were accepting his apology.

Re: It takes a big person to apologize.

Yes, it does. It is one of the hardest things we do in life. And we learn a lot in the process.

I commend you Robert. Do keep in touch - you are of value and what you say is as well.

I have to wonder

Since the screenname has changed, I'm guessing that means Harry gave him the boot from the board. So is the apology genuine? Or is it just something he was required to do to to be allowed back onto the board?

No, you don't have to wonder, Calinotary. Just ask. I suspect you'll get an answer.

Re: I have to wonder

I'm guessing someone hit the "Report" button, and it wasn't me. The whole thread made me consider whether participation on the forum still holds any value.

Beyond entertainment value, I'd say no

It's just the same old discussions repeated time after time after time. I think that's why so many people don't want to see Robert go, at least his frequent fits of cluelessness gave us something a little bit different to talk about.

I've wondered that as well, and my answer is heckie yes!

putting aside personal attacks, which I know is very very hard, ( Smile ), this site is extremely helpul, at least it is for me.

I don't know of ANY other notary forum that is as insightful as this one. Just have to know how to navigate (or read) through NotRot rules & regs.

There is always something to learn on NotRot IMO.

Emotions Emotions Emotions...aren't they something?

Its hard to NOT let emotions get the better of us. But it does, we've ALL let them over run our logic. I've screwed up on this board, many of times, and let my emotions get the better of me, and I've apologized many times.

And to you Robert, I do apologize if I upset you in any way. And your apology is accepted as well. And this shouldn't be your LAST post. You have many fans on this forum, so why dissappoint them?

Your a smart kid, with lots to learn, and this place is probably one of the finest places that WE ALL could learn from.
