I just got a call from another Signing Service that asked me if I was available for a signing at 8 this evening. I said yes. I asked how much they were paying. She said 65 dollars. I said I don't do e doc signings for that amount. I gave her my minimum for e docs. She said I'll make a note of that. Thanks for your time, and hung up. Are there really people in Southern California doing e doc signings for that amount? Erwin

Re: somebody's doing it.
PacDocs called me yesterday for a closing on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. for $70. "It's just a simple refi." When asked how much, she offered $70. I said I don't leave my house for that, and asked for my usual package w/printing fee. "I'll see if I can get approval."
Since I have a 9:00 on Tuesday anyway, I am not disappointed I haven't heard back.
