Yoli's Monday Mojo. Passing it on

I got a text message late last night. Atty I often work for handling settlement issues wants me in his office 9am to notarize two separate agreements. Fifteen minutes, pays as much as a signing.
O K all, it's Tuesday and I'm passing it on to everyone!

Need to try a little harder James...:)

The only call so far today was from a less-than-desirable SS...thankfully the connection was really bad and I couldn't hear a thing (had to do a reverse lookup to find out I was glad there was no connection!)

Harder OOHHHMMM's, James...:)

Got 2 calls - took one. Why does everyone have to be 5:30?

Why, why, why?

Maybe Yoli's got the magic??

Yesterday morning I had a general notary signing for an attorney I've done a lot of work for in the past. I was told it was to notarize a pre-nup. Turns out he also wanted me to notarize the signatures of both witnesses (his request) - who had to separately sign for each principal's signature, plus the attorney for each party had to sign and be notarized. Oh, and he wanted it done in triplicate. It ended up as 24 signatures! Smile (And the other attorney asked for my card because he wants to use me, too!)

This morning, on the other hand, I got a referral to someone who needed one document notarized for someone in a hospital just a tad outside of my usual area for general notary work. But since I've had a few recently who were willing to pay to be sure they had someone knowledgeable, I didn't worry about it. That is until we got to the fee discussion and he told me that he had been quoted $30 for the whole thing. This for a 40 mi round trip... I'm not sure if that was true or if he was just saying that, but I won't be the one doing that notarization! (It sounded like he might be another attorney. So ya just never know...)

OK, I'm going back to find Yoli's post and begin repeating her affirmation... Wink

Love affirmations. Just glanced at my letter opener in the

shape of a telephone: "May you open each day with new expectations". Turning that inward to "I will open..."

Thanks again, Yoli, for shining a light.
