Maybe she really needs the money.
To some people, some cash flow is better than no cash flow. At any rate, since you don't pay her bills, you have no right to criticize her.

And sometimes, no cash flow and not working is better than working and getting paid less than what you put in to it. BUT... some people don't understand that concept.
But yeah... if she thinks she's making money... have at it. She won't be around long, and if she is, then she's probably got help, is using her employer's supplies or something else.

We have every right to criticize her
Those type of signing agents have had a DIRECT result on the fees that we're being offered in this industry. Hell yes, we have a right to criticize her.

everyone is looking for a bargain...you get what you pay for in these cases. newbies will try to gain a competitive edge by accepting these signings but are more likely not to get another call because mistakes that were made. it's unfortunate...

or get a few calls that they have to go back to correct. Still the bargain lookers are killing the rates for others ... nothing should be below XXX

Another thought....
Sometimes these companies call around, get tired of being told no, then either turn it back as unfillable and it goes to another agency. or sometimes they call around, get tired, up what they will pay to the last person they talk to or someone really hasn't a clue about what they are doing.
There are many reasons - but I do feel your pain on this issue.

Re: Another thought....
Who knows maybe an arrangement was made to establish themselves with the company (I'll do it for that if you use me paying x in the near future). Here is CA I couldn't do it. I recently was on the road & needed a one page copy of a personal item, I popped into Staples who charged me 11 cents on their laser printer for the page. So if my average loan pkg is 200 pgs (including copy) that's $22. Let's say I'm driving 10 miles, the state allows 50 cents a mile (fed allows 60) that's $10, right there you have $32 in real expenses. What about my time, what about the number of docs I notarize???? When I was new 4 yrs ago we were told don't accept anything less that $50. I never did. Now the minimum I'll accept $75 and that's if the pkg is sent overnight within a few miles from me. There are always exceptions, but overall I feel if I want to be respected by my clients I need to respect myself.
