Can U say "Contempt of Court"
Borrowers are divorcing and female retains rights to property. Male required by court to sign GWD to transfer his rights to female. Male is aware of date, time & location of refinace appointment. Male refuses to appear at signing location to sign required GWD. Even after HIS attorney advised him he is required to sign!
I waiting 1.5 hrs on a military post for this BOZO. Now he is being hit with an Contempt of Court charge.
IMHO, he would have been better off to sign the GWD and move on with his life.

Did you get paid for waiting? Sounds to me like you waited 1 hr 15 mins too long unless the SS asked you to wait. IMO

Maybe you don't want them in the same room together - and he knows that...

Had a similar scenario one time. They told me upfront that this may happen. I told them the ONLY way I would do this is if they were scheduled for different times and locations. I am not going to get in the middle of anything personal. I was paid for 2 trips.

Parties were not going to be in same room
I was going to meet him at his work location. They both work at the same post, about fore (4) blocks apart.

My "x" was totally uncooperative during divorce (same in the marriage). That's why we don't practice UPL. He didn't show, but you were paid because you did.
