Does anyone have personal experience w/ Myfax.com?

Does anyone have feedback on or personal expierence with the e-fax service Myfax.com? I'm trying to decide which e-fax provider to go through, and they sound like they have a really great offer. "Send 100, receive 200 free pages per month for $10/month. No set up fees."

I have used Efax several times over the past 5 years. I finally came to the conclusion that it was not worth the trouble.

It seemed that every time I had to send large packages to a lender, for instance, it would cut me off, limit the number of pages sent at one time. Often times I would have to break up the package into 2, 3 or 4 sets and send each one individually. Most times, one or more of the packs would not arrive and I would have to resend.

I finally gave in and got a land line which costs me about $19 a month and is well worth the expense. I don't dread having to send a large fax package anymore. Just put it in my 4 in 1 and dial the number.

For receipt and send of small packages only then it is worth it. Or if you only fax items once or twice a month it would be worth it but not if you are busy and need to fax often.

I use Metrofax, costs $12.95 per month and you get a total of 1000 pages (incoming or outgoing). I just scan and upload my docs and it even sends me an email if the fax went through or not.

Re: Yes I love it.

It is inexpensive and easy to use. I have had others services and dropped them because they took too long to send fax's. MyFax saent time is with in a few minutes (always less then 5 minutes). You can try them for 30 days for free.

I use it for incoming only. (I have a land line I use for outgoing / home / back-up, etc.) I like the efax because it comes directly to my email and I can save it for as long as I want. It rarely gets used any more, but I feel it's important to still have an incoming fax option. With my old all-in-one, I never managed to get the number of rings right to receive faxes on my land line (too many things sharing on it) and I used a different service for incoming which isn't around any longer. However, with my newer all-in-one, I was amazed to find an incoming fax sitting there the other day. So I may drop it. Other than that, I've had no problems with efax, but I haven't been a big user of it.

I use Myfax.com

The service is easy to use and I like the confirmation that the fax was sent.

I am thinking of dropping it since I rarely fax out anymore as most people will accept an email of scanned documents instead. Incoming documents can now be received through Notary Rotary, but I will need to change my fax number on all my online listings and order new business cards before I cancel Myfax.
