Did one on the 3rd for them. Pita as usual. They called 2 more times this month but won't up the fee for further miles. Sorry. I stay real close to home with them.

Did one for them around the 15th, will see how fast they pay ... just like Linda says ... *do not go over your mileage for them* if they do not agree on the extra dollars on the mile.

I had one for them today, another this Friday and 3 more scheduled for next week.

A good 75%- 80% of the closings I do for FASS are within a 20 minute drive from my home. However, if they ask me to go out of my "territory," I've never had problems with them to pay for the extra mileage and time.

They stopped calling me the minute I raised my fee by $10. Haven't heard from them since early last Fall. I got most of my work from them, but if they won't pay a measley $10 more. then I guess that is fine. Indiana is a Title Producer state so I don't see how anyone can do edocs for $75, but there must be somebody.

Re: Kay/IL, so ur comfortable getting paid $90?

I don't get paid $90.00......Wink

Don't get me wrong, I work for other companies too. But FASS keeps me close to home and sends the most work.

hmf..they send u the most work, 'cause u work for $XX

just like those other notaries out there in our area...working for $85 to $100 for 'bulk work' that keeps you 'close to home'....

But Cari, You Work For Them Too......

so why are you getting on my case?

I get pd for what I'm worth;not what FASS thinks I'm worth..

BIG big difference....keep taking on those Chicago assignment gigs for $75 bucks....work UR butt off, have fun....then add everything up at the end of the month, profit vs expenses....its a real eye opener....

FASS Has Caught Up With Me Too

I was like you Kay. They were the majority of my work and always met my fees which btw were more than $100.00. Then slowly they started calling less and less but I still would not budge on my fee.

I haven't heard from them in 3 months which in the history of my business has never happened before.

They must have finally found someone who is really excited about all the miles they have do drive for $50.00. I can't imagine they will last though. The first time a NSA has to drive an hour in a snow storm at 8pm they are going to realize it isn't worth it. Unfortunately for FASS and fortunately for me, bc of the lack of business I now get from them, I have been able to increase my client list so now if they call they are at the bottom of my list.

I was always a little nervous about relying on FASS to keep my business running but bc the slow down with them was gradual I haven't even noticed how long it's been since I got a call from them until I saw your post and checked my spreadsheet.

BTW Linda in my area with low NSAs they always met my fee

They never haggled with me about it. They had it in their computers and after I accepted a signing with them they would say "I have your fee at $XXX.XX is that correct."
