First (& last) Fiserv/Flagstar e-sign

I had my first Fiserv e-sign experience. What a nightmare! The signing was scheduled for Thurs. night, signed the paper docs, but no electronic docs on website. Ok--rescheduled for last night. Again, re-signed the paper docs, and logged in for e-sign. They actually have ALL the docs on the format, including the ink-signed ones. It took forever to go down the whole list. What genius comes up with these things?
I'm sure many of you have done these, perhaps without the fiasco I went through. For me, it's one of those "shake your head, thinking 'this is crazy'" moments.

usually when you click on the doc u need, it should send u

too a link of the doc, instead of going thru all of the docs....hmmmm wondered what happened there.....

Oh Brother what a paperless signing?

We have done dozens of the Amtrust and did our first Flagstar yesterday. It took almost 2 hours instead of 40 minutes. However, part of it was my fault. It is totally different from the Amtrust loans because all of the documents are online but a bunch of them are "ink sign" and it took me a while to figure out which was which and how to go from one to the other.

I was also very slow at the signatures and the website had a couple of "glitches" in it. When this happens you have to logout of the system and then back in again. I called the SS about 6 times trying to get through the whole thing. Felt kind of stupid!

However, I am anxious to do another one very soon so I can get the practice I need to speed up the process. They say practice makes perfect. I would be satisfied if with practice I can cut 1 hour off of the signing time.

Same thing happened to me..

a little over a month ago.

It was a Flagstar but not through Fiserv.

All docs were online, even those that needed an ink signature. It became very confusing. I had to go back and forth to see if such and such document had already been signed.

I complained to the service that hired me that it didn't make sense the way this was set up. They should only post those docs that needed an e-sign, not all of them. It was very time-consuming and just seemed unorganized by the lender. The borrowers were great, though, and I was thankful for that. Plus, this signing was not done in a home but in a mechanic's shop office. Lots going on there. Ugh!

I agree Amtrust signings are much organized and fast. Flagstar your gonna sit on your computer a good 30 to 45 minutes clicking on every document!

I had the same experience--other e-signs are fine, but I don't think I'll be doing another Flagstar one EVER. They uploaded docs after I left for the closing. When I opened the docs to e-sign there were several "your state does not accept this document electronically, so please click print and ink-sign this doc." Sure wish I'd brought my printer.... ended up using a local copy center.

They had sent some paper legals in advance but had not alerted me that onsite printing would be required. (arrgh!)

Thanks, everyone. At least I know I'm not the only one who

encountered the difficulties of their system. That's what I love about this site. It's a good support system. I can tell you that I've already decided that I will not do another one of those. It still cracks me up that the lenders will charge the broker & tc a penalty if it doesn't go e-sign, but they won't pay us a double fee for all the hoops we have to jump through.

Did first Flagstar esign Sat., YIKES! want more $$ next time

Your right, it took forever. Would have been done quicker and more efficeintly if all docs were paper docs. Borrowers were getting antsy with all the ink sign papers to go through and then having to go through same docs on paper to sign.
