Loan Modification Fees

Is anyone doing these for $45, or even $35? I've been getting a lot of these calls, but it doesn't seem worth it to provide travel notary service for that low of a fee even though the packages are small. Just curious what everyone else's thoughts are.

If you mean FINAL loan mods, I do them a lot for a few companies for $45-$50 locally. Quick and easy with minimal printing involved. To me it's the same as going to my local hospital to do a notarization. Loan mod APPLICATIONS, I treat the same as any other loan signing. Full fee.

Loan Modification Fees - CT no travel

The few I have had the borrowers come to my home - they received a DIY package.

$5 or $10 (two notarizations) is the maximum statutory fee that I can charge. If I traveled to them I could only charge 35 cents per mile, which is why most people are willing to come to me. Some we able to get free notarizations at their local bank branch or Town Clerk's office. I can't compete with free (and don't want to).
