NO HUD
What do you do when you haven't received a HUD and everyone has gone home? Go to the signing? Give the borrower the option of signing or not? Or cancel everything and not go?

Pat, unless you have specific instructions to NOT go to the signing without the HUD, definitely go, as the HUD can be e-mailed or sent to the borrowers later. Although, many borrowers may not sign without seeing their fees and charges, but at least you showed up as scheduled and you can stress to them the RTC.

If they lived close and i had a relationship with the TC
I'd go. On the other hand if it was my loan and someone showed up with out the costs, we'd be doing the PW on another day.

do not take this wrong
but did your loan come in one package? If it was emailed to you did you scroll up and down and left to right to see if it was there ...
I know that once on a package I was looking for the Note and when I scrolled to the right well there it was
sometimes easy to overlook!

#324509 on 2/27/10 you asked the same question
You are getting about the same answers today as then - please try to remember for the next time this happens to you. The options don't change....

I do what I can and that's all I can do. I can
complete everything else, it's not a notarized doc, and not my responsibility without specific direction. "Unavailable", in my book, is "I don't give a rip."
I do my job. It's up to the rest of them to do theirs.

no HUD
HUD arrived by email after we had left for the signing. We made a second trip. Please don't say bill for it. We will be lucky if we are paid for the first trip. This was NREIS. No sarcasim please.

Re: no HUD
Check your first response to this thread. I believe NREIS is one of those companies that has specific instructions to NOT go to the signing without a HUD. If you don't get it in time for the appt., you should probably call the BO and let them know that it needs to be rescheduled. In this case, you would have had it for a later trip. Sadly, you're probably right about not getting paid for either trip -- at least not for a long time.

Re: no HUD
I'm scratching my head here - why would you accept a job from NREIS when it's been posted ad nauseam that they are not paying anyone? If I thought there was a significant chance that I may not be paid for a signing, I simply would not accept the job.
