I have a signing with this company in 45 minutes and they are closed! Any input?????No docs, no word.

They are probably still there, however, they can very VERY difficult to get a hold of after 5 PM. Try calling them and pressing "0" - I think I got a hold of someone that way once after hours. Another time, I had one of their loans blow up on me because there was a significant issue with the docs and I could not get a hold of anyone after 5 PM, despite having four phone extensions provided to me.

No docs. No contact. No go. A call to the borrower would be the polite thing to do.

Yep...call to the borrower - "I'm going to be delayed as I don't have docs yet .. you might want to check with your loan officer"....maybe the LO can light a fire for you. In the meantime you can find out about your signers' flexibility for the evening.

Thanks. Called the borrowers and they were as mystified as I. Then he called me back because he found them in his front door. They were supposed to be e-docs.
