Pennsylvania Notary
I am currently a notary in Virginia and am moving due to transfer by hubby. He is being transferred to Lavale Md. I don't have the requirements to do mortgage signings in Md. So I am looking for houses in Pa but have to go with what I can find. Do you have to have a physical address in Pa to be a notary in Pa? Thanks

Click on The Library tab above, and then click on State Government, then the State you are interested in. The information you need and more, will be on the SOS site.

You are fortunate...
in that PA has the Pennsylvania Association of Notaries - the oldest and best in the nation. They can help you through the entire commissioning process for PA.

I can't remeber but I remeber needing a letter from one of our Senators or Representatives ... it has been so long ago!

If she did her research (like we all should do) she will find that she needs to be a resident OR employed in PA (becoming a Notary Public for her employer based in PA).
