Pray for Kelly King's Family
Kelly's body was found at last. Her body was raped and left near Lake Hodges' shore in San Diego by her killer, a "registered" sex offender. Kelly's parents are valiant and brave. I don't know how they were able to be so composed when interviewed by the reporters for local TV news in San Diego. Their fervent prayer is that this atrocious murder will strengthen the laws against sex offenders in the future. Kelly was her father's ANGEL, he knows this event will make a change in the way we deal with these criminals. Kelly was an honor student and avid jogger, and she was only 17 years of age. I can't imagine how horrible this was for her.
Unfortunately, these events keep happening.

I can not imagine what these parents are going through, I am the parent of 3 girls and it just boils my blood to see this guy on tv.

I was listening to reports on this yesterday when they found her body in a shallow grave.
This guy they arrested had no business being on the streets.

I don't know why the judge's etc. keeping letting creeps like this back out to prey on other innocent people. This is such a tragedy.

This makes me sick! I cannot imagine the pain of losing a child let alone the horror of losing them in such a way to a SO.
I will pray peace and healing for her family and friends.
Sometimes I think the term "death penalty" sounds too kind.

Stand corrected, it is CHELSEA King. I was a little distracted earlier when I posted.
I hope this guy gets the death penalty. Better yet, shouldn't their lives also end on such a horrific note as the innocent people whose lives they so brutally disturb? Dear God, why do we need these people as examples on this planet?

How does anyoe deal with this sort of thing? Almost every time these are people that should not have been on the loose in the first place? Same thing with the little girl killed in FL. I was always of the understanding that our laws were supposed to protect the rest of us from the criminal element.
IMO we need to start having public hangings. Clearly, the legal process IS NOT working to protect us.
My thoughts & prayers go out to her parents. They worked hard to raise a bright, intelligent, & super young woman.
