Slow, Slow, Slow!

Hey! I've been operating my signing biz for about 13 years and I've never seen it so slow. Granted, I've heard there is some sort of a national recession. But, is it just me or is everyone else experiencing the samething? How about comments from NW, SW, Central, NE, SE areas of the country?

It doesn't really matter if your busy when you can't get paid after providing your service. To many non-payers/bad check writer's out there right now.

I take a collage class on Monday evenings and had to turn down three signings this evening. Of course, I couldn't have taken them all as they were all around the same time, but business seems to be pretty good here in the San Fernando Valley in Southern California.

mid february to end of february it was crazy and had to turn down but since last week thursday ... very slow ... and most jobs not closing related.

I also take a college class on Monday evenings and quite often have to turn down jobs for Monday nights. Of course this week is my spring break and you guessed it - NO CALLS for Monday night!!!

I've seen a major slow-down since the 1st of the year. I can't wager to guess what the future will be--money is very tight & a lot of people don't qualify under the stricter guidelines. Someone rumored that rates will be considerably higher by the 3rd Q of this year.
