South Coast Title

Today I finally got my check from Meredian that was paying for a contract through South Coast Title. After speaking to the borrower on this she stated she got her checks from the closing almost 2 months later and one of the checks bounced. South Coast Title is contracting the notaries and Meredian is in charge of payment. Makes no sense to me.

The one you are referring to is South Coast Title "CORPORATION" with a mailing address in Floral City, FL, a dba (Doing Business As under a fictitious name) of Meredian Loan Services of Costa Mesa, CA. This business should not to be confused with a duly licensed title company in Coral Gables, FL with the name of South Coast Title "COMPANY".

anita55109: This is why it is SO important to include location (or more if you have it, such as complete address, phone, contact person, website, phone number, etc.) when commenting on a company. Had PAW not mentioned the difference in the two entities, your post is prime example of how Notaries could turn down work from the 5 star SCT and accept work from the deadbeat SCT - based on your comment with only a company name in your post.

I apologize if I've caused anyone any confusion. This had been an ongoing conversation all week and I forget sometimes people don't check in every day to follow along. Did not mean any harm to anyone. I will be more careful in my future posts. I am very sorry.
