South Coast Title Collection help

Joan Farino's title license number is E184143. Florida only regulates Title Insurance. Collecting on this has become very difficult. Meredian Financial doesn't give a care either as I have the name of Russell Howerton whom I was told was a VP and he won't return phone calls or emails. I am having the inclination to fed ex her my invoice everyday knowing that at least fed ex will get the money I am due but this is rather like a drama queen. I would really rather have the money myself. HELP!

What?? Are you saying you would use THEIR FedEx account number to send your invoice to them on a daily basis? You could get in hot water if you tried that. (Someone else did or was going to do the same thing a while back.) You are not authorized to use their account number accept for the purpose it was intended ... sending back the package.

True Paul, but ..

still one hell of an idea! Especially if their return address is used on top and bottom portion of FedEx label.

Ok, now here is my CYA portion - I am only kidding and not endorsing this idea Frown

You must admit, it would be funny to see the look on some of the employees faces if they were to open 10+ different packages from 10+ of the SA's with past due invoices on the same day!

Re: True Paul, but ..

Now my other question is how am I using that Fed Ex account for uses not intended for when the invoice I'm sending is for the closing I did that was sent originally under that Fed Ex account. It all has to do with the same closing.

The FedEx account info, or invoice,

was provided for use in returning the package ... period. IMO any other use is unauthorized.

Re: The FedEx account info, or invoice,

So we are held liable for our actions being that we close the loan as agreed and send back the docs but we don't have to be paid as agreed. Wouldn't the trouble that she went through to persue me for misusing her fed ex account be at least as much trouble as I am going through to collect the money that she agreed to pay when SHE solicited MY services? If we ever ended up in court I just don't see how a judge could rule in her favor at all. And would it be worth it to her?

What trouble?

She disputes the FedEx bill, provides FedEx with YOUR info and FedEx charges you for the shipment. Done. She's got the envelope with airbill in her hand and FedEx can confirm where and when it was scanned ... proving it was NOT the loan package.

Sorry, I disagree with this tactic...think it could backfire on you.
