Tetherberry problems--need help

Is anyone using Tetherberry to connect Blackberry to internet? I haven't used mine in a while.
I get the connection on my phone, see the connection on the computer, but can't connect to the internet.
All I get is a screen telling me they don't recognize the device (Tetherberry sales pitch). I contacted "support", but there's no telling how long it will take them to get back to me.
Grrrrrr. It's another one of those things where tech support is not available via phone. I hate that!
Any help will be greatly appreciated. It never fails, on those rare occasions I get a call for an e-sign, something is out of sinc with my equipment. Grrrrr, again.
