The Feds are on MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, etc.

A colleague forwarded the following link to me. At first I ignored it but while waiting for docs I read the story. Interesting stuff for those of us using social networking sites. While the story may not contain anything "new" to you, this information may be surprising to friends and family members.

Do you think someone here has something to hide and therefore be concerned about them?

LOL

Sometimes, tiny URL does better than other ways
If you search: " feds on MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, etc". there are many many stories popping up with today's date. This obviously is big news.

or just cut & paste the whole link. That worked. n/m

For those who can't read the story....

The reason people can't see the story is that the URL is too long - NotRot is only picking up half of it as a link.

Try this instead:

http://tinyurl.com/yhxw7ms

With these long URLs, you should use either tinyurl.com or bit.ly to convert them to something more manageable...

Re: Just Google... about 17 news articles on this topic

I am a California Registered Tax Preparer. Long time ago I was invited to become a "friend" of someone I am close to. I refused based on the fact that the tax files I had on my computer could be comprised. I am glad I refused. No, I am not anti-social, just very careful about protecting those that I deal with. Looks like I did the right thing.

Just watched a "Crime Scenes" episode last week on this topic. The BAU caught a murderer by mapping a "social network".
