Woohoo, just got off the phone w/NREIS
I'm so lucky, they told me that they are going to mail me a check for my Nov & Dec closings on March 22, 2010. Don't know when I'll get paid for Jan & Feb, couldn't tell me that. Don't you just love the way these guys go about getting interest free loans? For any newbies reading the thread, be prepared to become voluntary banker's for these TC's & SS's as you spend $ trying to collect from the deadbeats.

I emailed them last week and told them to take me off their calling list. I haven't accepted a job from them since they lowered their fees. (how long? 3 years?) Apparently, they are having issues finding people in my area and they've been calling me a lot and still offering insultingly low fees. How about this one: They called last week at 9:55am for a noon signing with edocs and faxbacks in the next county over from me. Fee? $100 is the max. I told him my minimum would be $150 if they'd given me a days' notice.
So, I emailed them and told them why I won't work for them...and to stop calling me.

They met my fee, but what good it that if they won't pay you, or hold your payment for months. Do you think Costco or Sam's will let me get the paper or printing supplies and tell them Ill pay them after the TC pays me? No, I don't think so, and I'm tired of the interest free loans to these companies, or having them file bankruptcy on me and I get nothing. I know the mtgs. on the closings have already been recorded and completion reports were filed in Tallahassee, I checked.
What I find strange is that the guy I spoke to wanted to know if I had already requested payment recently. I asked why and he said that there was a list of the ones requesting payment and the date the payment was scheduled to go out. So if you do a closing for them I suggest that you immediately start hounding them for payment so you can get put on the pay list. Otherwise, who knows when they might get around to writing your check. Personally, I'm done with this company & their associated companies as soon as I get my money.

This is way worse than an interest-free loan. It's scary. Paying the end of March for November jobs?? Will they even be in business March 22? Or will you be calling the end of March and asking where's my $$ and they say they'll mail it even later? Yikes! They finally stopped calling me after I told them 5-6 times to take me off their list. They probably found some poor sucker around here to take their jobs. I feel really bad for that person .... unless they're an incurable optimist - and patient, too.

Question for the 3 of you...
by any chance, are all your outstanding invoices only for Bank of America's loans?

I e mailed NREIS for payment for a job done in January and they told me the check number and the date it was cut. 2/15/10. I am waiting for them to get back to me and tell me if they have actually mailed the check! I guess mine is not as late as others. I have refused any other assignments that they have offered me and told the scheduler why. I hope that if we band together it may prod them to start paying us in a timely manner........
