World Wide Notary ,,, is it just me?

My DigaSign Pro just came (yes I broke down and paid the $300+ for it). It is an over glorified Topaz. It comes with no software and no manual. Their confirmation phone number has been disconnected. Their support web pages are down and they are not returning email.

Is it just me or have I been duped. After 6 years I am really starting to feel like the stupidest notary in the business.

I'm confused here - is DigaSign for use with electronic notarizations? I was about to say that we do not yet have e-notarizations is Virginia, but I just did a quick check on the SOC website and apparently VA is indeed accepting applications to be an authorized e-notary (who knew?).

I personally am not interested in this yet - too much money to expend for something that will very likely not pay off. Maybe 10 years from now it will be common, but not right now.
One problem is that apparently you cannot trust the digital equipment manufacturers to support the product or stay in business! Didn't the NNA discontinue support of the ENOJA thing?

I think DigiSign is now offering the e-seal

(them among other companies) that the NNA no longer supports...SafeDocs, I believe, is another one....

Sure hope there's just a mistake in your numbers or your website accesss there, John...good luck!!

Virginia now has the infrastructure in place. Everything is on line. Took about two days affter I got my e-stuff. Very painless until it came time to get an ejournal. Got my e-seal through IdenTrust only brcause it was listed on the SOS web page. Happy with IdenTrust. Not happy with WWN.

Now trying to get 'real I&O' (not NNA) in Virginia is a different story

What is it

What is DigaSign, John. Others are guessing it's e-sign...is that correct?

I'm not guessing...I got their e-mail several times

it's not e-sign - it's the e-SEAL....
