"Big Box" lenders & "small guy" borrowers

I just got off the phone with a bo whose closing was re-scheduled from a week ago and was to have taken place 1/2 hr. ago. (I am patiently waiting for docs).
Even though the bo is retired, they are very UPSET @ the "big box" lender who PROMISED there would not be any delays in todays closing.
Statement to me was" What if I had taken off of work to do this closing & had to go back to work?"
Amazing how the lo's can call the bo's a million times to get the loan going, and amazing how the lender can call the bo if they miss a payment, but yet the docs can get here on time?
Just venting...

For good reasons ... lately I have had more docs coming in *just on the nick of time* or coming in late.
It is becoming a tradition in the field Frown

Sometimes notaries are treated like "low man on the totem". I wonder what excuse the Lender gives to a bo and how it reflects on us??? Just wondering? However, I really do love my work as a mobile notary. I meet the best people and really like to see them accomplish what they are trying to do. Glad I can help.
