email i received from nreis manager

this is the email i received from a manager concerning a payment i inquired about.

As stated in my email it was mailed on 3/23 via US Mail. I am sure it takes a few days to reach you.

The company has finally been caught up in the recession with the changing industry envoirnment. It is not negligence on our part. NREIS has every intention of paying the vendors current once NREIS has the capacity to do so. NREIS is not receiving the inflow of cash from our customers and is currently working with all clients to receive payment so in turn we can once again pay in a timely manner. Your patience is appreciated.

NREIS is currently paid up to date with all vendors through Jan. 30th.

So this pattern's been going on since September? Hmmm..interesting...you better hope those checks go through....

I think I'll try this approach with my mortgage and auto payments when due....that's a joke. That company should be foreclosed on and repo'd.

Weaver, thank you for posting this email.

I have two outstanding invoices with them. I will contact Ms. Mccullough directly.

"It is not Negligence on our part.

NREIS is not receiving the inflow of cash from our customers."

So are they blaming the Title Companies for not paying them? Bet they would love to know what NREIS is saying about them.

Unless of course they are owned by TC.

Thank goodness I have absolutely no experience with them.

Interesting:
"•95% of our disbursements occur on time."

Re: "It is not Negligence on our part.

And if the notary was on the HUD maybe payment would actually be received shortly after disbursement.

What is their definition of "on time" payment? If they consider the payment date to be the date the check is cut, then of course they can say the payment is on time. The reality is that they are cutting the checks but not mailing them until an additional 30 to 60 days have passed. I don't consider that to be on time payment.

Full disclosure: I haven't worked for NREIS in years (since they cut the fee they are willing to pay).

No they arent

I was told when I called that they have 2 checks waiting to go out next check run in 2 weeks. Maybe if they stop spending money on individual checks and put it all on one they would have more money to pay on time. The recession caught up with them? What do you call all of the business they have? They arent hurting, just poorly managed
